When I saw it was Perkins Coie leading the investigation on Jordan, I just rolled my eyes.
Perkins Coie? Seriously? You people aren't even trying.
Why not?! When the highest law department cheats, steels, LIES, kills and harasses Americans without not a scintilla of punishment the rest of their macabre fan club will follow!! Sessions is the one to blame! Little freakin **ick!! Also I’ve come to the conclusion the reason president does not give the order to release all the data from the FBI department and the NSA because I truly believe he too has been threatened, but mostly his grandchildren...I read Jim Jordan’s nephew was kill on Thursday...what a coincidence ...someday the truth will come out!!
Jordan has shown grit but Damn he needs help. At this point Trump is the only one with enough power to fight these bastards. The time has come.
Naive American
I think we all have relatives from that category...
The Ohio State "wrestlers" who are bringing this up now have a very spotty history, and they're being retained by Perkins Coie, the same firm that was paid millions by the Clinton Campaign and the DNC to dummy up the fake Trump Dossier during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“”My wife is from Mexico and wonder of wonders, she is nearly 50% Naive American from all over North and South America.””
Naïve American? Is she really naive? If she is 50% Native American aren’t there government programs available to her? She may not want to participate but it would be interesting to see just what all is offered to those who do have Native American ancestry.
Some info -
http://www.collegescholarships.org/nativeamerican.htm
This says 1/4 is the required % for some programs.
The only reason I mention it is because I knew a gal in CA years ago who was qualified to participate in government programs and she received dividends from shares in oil wells in TX or OK...
Why not?
I believe one has to be an ‘enrolled’ member of a tribe. That’s quite a bit different from having some specific DNA.
The accusations center around allegations that the team doctor insisted on giving team members hernia tests each time he examined them. For all you ladies and those who never played high school sports, the hernia test consists of the the doctor placing two fingers underneath a mans testicles and telling the athlete to turn his head and cough. If you went out for football, basketball or baseball, you were administered one of these tests by the team doctor before the seasons first practice, and likely any time you sustained any sort of injury, if your doctor was cautious.
Given the extreme physical nature of the sport of wrestling, its actually very easy to see why a teams doctor would want to conduct such exams more frequently, and any group of high school and college-aged men would inevitably resort to joking about such an uncomfortable process. One of Jordans accusers who was of course given copious air time by CNN this week even stated that the doctor administered this test every time a wrestler had to be examined. This is not sexual abuse, this is a doctor doing his job. (My emphasis.)
So now all the issues of alleged "sexual abuse" by the conveniently deceased doctor, who can't even defend himself, turn out to be issues of sound medical judgment. Somehow or other it strikes me that a medical professional experienced in sports medicine would be much better able to make the call on when a hernia exam was appropriate than an 18 to 22 year old wrestler who desperately wanted to keep on wrestling even though he might have suffered a debilitating injury he didn't know about.
That doctor also had a major duty to his employer, the university, to make sure enthusiastic wrestlers, who may not have recognized the severity of their own injuries, were not allowed to continue wrestling until they were medically cleared. Otherwise the university could be exposed to major liability claims by young men who were improperly cleared and went on to severely injure themselves. That being the situation, the doctor had every reason to be excessively cautious, especially given how violent the sport is and how serious a hernia can be. Given the macho nature of male college wrestlers and their ribald sense of humor, it's easy to see how many could joke about how "old doc. Jones just queered me again" when they, and everyone around them, knew they were just joking about another medically appropriate hernia exam.
She and I have been past college age for nearly 2 score.
Her DNA is scattered so probably not enough concentrated in the USA itself to meet the criteria.
When I say “America” in this context I mean the Americas.
“On the ancestry shows, when people take DNA tests, a lot of them have low percentages of Indian ancestry (like 0.1% or some such). How much does Warren have to have to be considered Indian?”
IIRC Warren received scholarships to college claiming she was 16% Indian so I’m guessing she would need to prove this criteria.
How is this kind of activity halted?
First Scott Pruitt now Jim Jordan.
“”I believe one has to be an enrolled member of a tribe””
And I believe that’s what the gal I knew in CA was. She talked about it as no big deal - “I’m part Native American” - pretty casual.
That's very sad. Prayers for Jim Jordan and his grieving family.
I don't know the circumstances around the accident. But sometimes these kinds of things are "warnings" to people whom they can't get by blackmail, bribery, or other means.
The Left has proven time and again that they will stop at nothing to hold on to their power.
ANYONE have the 5 NAMES of the ACCUSERS?? I only know 2 of them....HELP!!
I was a wrestler and we would challenge the football players to a "Workout Off" just to watch them puke.
Wow, I hadn't considered that the death of his nephew might be something nefarious - scary.
Thanks for all your comments!
Pray for JJ!
We don't have to treat teachers that way, we are GREAT at self-aggrandizement!
We need to fight fire with fire.
Go after Perkins Coie, find out the name and home address of every employee and publish it, even the janitors and secretaries. Protest in front of their offices and homes.
If any have criminal records publish it.
Tried to call and leave him a message in his DC phone # His mail box is full. I will try Ohio # next. We have to support and pray for this decent man and his family. Over at Conservative Treehouse, Sundance said he got an e-mail from someone ( whom he would not name) who told him this smear job was going down. Who is responsible for this?
