Yep, kind of like the original founders don’t you think? They sacrificed everything, including their very lives. I would be willing to bet Trump knows MUCH more than the average person concerning the intentions of all the players and I bet he knew it long before going in.
Paraphrasing someone else, Trump isn’t our last hope, he is the deep state’s last hope. Either he brings the ‘rule of law’ back to this country the proper/legal way or We The People do in a less civilized, but nonetheless effective manner.
Time will tell. I am concerned that the rot is too deep and time is too limited for the ‘ballot box’ solution. E

The Deep State collective obviously sees us as 'We The Sheeple'. It's why they stubbornly refuse to accept the outcome of the 2016 election, and believe it is their divine right to use any means necessary, to "fundamentally transform America", even though their actions and agenda run directly counter to the wishes of most citizens and our constitutional form of government.
