When Will The Other Shoe Drop?
Declination ^ | 6-27-2018 | Thanes

Francis penned an article this morning that bears some further questions. I encourage you to give it a read. As others have explained recently, including Ace, Kurt Schlichter, Tom Kratman, and many other luminaries on the Right, we are perched on the edge of a knife. Violence is simmering beneath the surface - perhaps even a full-blown Civil War. Francis explains:

There's no reasoning with one who considers you evil. There's certainly no compromising with him. He's out to destroy you. He'll take whatever opportunity you offer to slip the dirk between your fourth and fifth ribs and twist it. Nor is there any way for you to convince him that you're not evil. He assumes a priori that everything you say is ultimately aimed at his destruction.

At that point it becomes war to the knife.

We haven't yet seen violence with actual casualties. But we will.

So what gives? Why hasn't it started yet? I was discussing this with a personal friend yesterday, a veteran, MMA fighter, and all-around guy you don't want to f_ck with. He is the sort of man that, were the war to start tomorrow, would be on the front lines. He expressed to me his fear, not for himself, but for his wife, his children, and the end of a relatively prosperous life. For even if he survived the conflict, he mused, life would never be the same.

Veterans are largely Rightists, and Leftists are largely p_ssies who have spent their lives avoiding any kind of real physical risk. So the Right has a much better sense for what a war within our borders would really look like. The Left, as Francis notes in the following quote, has no idea because they have not suffered consequences for this behavior up until now.

Bad behavior must be punished. The Left's decision to use harassment and intimidation against conservatives and Republicans is about as bad as behavior gets without becoming legally actionable. Up to now, it's met no significant degree of punishment. Therefore, as it's getting its practitioners some of what they want (including a shameful degree of satisfaction), it will increase.

If it increases past a certain level, it will trigger lethal violence.

Rightists, like my friend, are rightly fearful of the consequences of this thing going bad. We have some idea of what this really means, and so we hold back earnestly hoping for another way. This, in turn (and sadly), emboldens the Leftists, most of whom have no Earthly idea what they are really agitating for, or the risks they are taking, because they have no experience with risks like these.

However, at some point Leftist derangement will exceed the Rightist's reluctance to resort to violence. And when that Rubicon is crossed, there is no going back. Leftists are quicker to violence, but Rightists are far better at it. The consequences of this will be grave.

To top it off, nobody really knows exactly where the Rubicon is, in this political mess. Will it be gun control or confiscation? Will it be the next time a Democrat wins control over the federal government? Will they be hellbent on revenge and do something they shouldn't? Will it be getting Rightists fired from their jobs, destroying their businesses and ability to earn, such that they have nothing to lose? Or will it be a cumulative 'death from a thousand cuts' situation, where all of these smaller, lesser attacks will, in aggregate, finally exceed the Rightist's ability to tolerate?

I have no Earthly idea. But I do know that the Rubicon is somewhere, and that across its shore lies Civil War, or something approximating that. And so, in this, we are generally wiser (though not wise, see: Socrates) than our Leftist counterparts, who haven't a clue about the hornet's nest they've been poking.

If and when the Left crosses the Rubicon, they will certainly be surprised at what lies on the other side. One thing is certain, nobody is going to like it.

It’s been dragging out for far to long. We are in need of a big correction.

The entire crap with LGBT has to end. If the militant degenerate homosexual leftist don’t like it then too bad.

Spot on. One possible Rubicon is impeachment. If leftists try to impeach Trump for no real reason, I see conservatives rising in mass and saying, NO.

This “bad behavior” and fascist intolerance is what Americans have been sending their half-grown children off to college to be indoctrinated in.

And American taxpayers have been funding this organized sedition.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

Where would the "front" be? What will we do with the millions of people whose ideology is so ingrained that they are literally incapable of rational though after the "war" is over? Who will feed the millions of people in the cities?

I AM tired of this horrid way of political life that we have but honestly see no end.

For now, the Democrats are only going after soft targets- the female cabinet members, isolated Conservatives living in flag-burning baby-killing gun-grabbing strongholds like Berkeley, Seattle, New York, Austin, etc. They're trying to provoke an overreaction.

We need to fight smart. We Normal Americans see some masked soyboys or Gangsta Thugs jumping pro-Americans and our blood boils. However, the flagburners want us to make a rash attack on some poor liberal schlub who lives in some pro-American community. They're hoping to use an excuse to start another Kristillnacht, like the Nazis did after Herschel Grynszpan killed Ernst vom Rath in Paris.

One thing CounterInsurgents learned from fighting Marxists- they're tough, fanatical, ruthless...but not very smart. If you use unorthodox methods on them, or turn their tactics ("Rules for Radicals", Mao's Little Red Book, etc.) on them, they get totally discombobulated. Surprise them, have a bunch of pro-Americans jump out when the Soyboys and Gangstas think they've isolated somebody....and give them some extra underwear or Depends because they'll crap their pants.

What’s scary is realizing that the media has created this mess with the 24/7 anti-Trump hatred they push - and I don’t see the ill-feeling just petering out. The left seems to be pushing harder and harder, and getting more and more insane by the day. Yesterday’s news is bound to drive them further into derangement.

We were very vocal in the eight years of nobama and had a lot of harsh words for him and his fellow proggs. But we as right minded thiMkers never came close to reaching this level of insanity. We do have some crazies but they seem to be way outnumbered by the crazies on the left. I do not thiMk that we can overcome these nut jobs without it becoming physical on their side against us.

Why on earth is everyone thinking this will *escalate* into violence?

IT ALREADY HAS.

Do we need to remind people about GOP congressmen being gunned down at a baseball field? Or the poor sap who was killed by a radical lefty in PA? or a Kentucky Senator getting his ribs broken?

... or do we need to re-visit all the Trump campaign rallies of 2016?

It’s only gotten to this point because our side hasn’t done much about it - yet.

Just last night I was thinking of the men who destroyed society in Venezuela and are now ensconced in Florida. Trump’s been trying (and succeeding) in getting rid of them.

The ongoing FBI / DOJ scandals do hurt the U.S. Instead of investigating suspicious organizations or terrorist cells, they’re wasting their time and resources hiding evidence that they tore the constitution up in the Hillary, Trump and Russia investigations. I.E the Deep State coup plans.

They Alinsky method is to marginalize, Ostracized, demonize and then criminalize.

The Cloven-Piven method is to overload the social safety nets until we reach a point where we are perpetually broke, cannot fund the services to their needs.

We are in a Alinsky Cloven-Piven cycle right now. Unfettered immigration with life being subsidized is a strong attraction for the peasant class that are crossing the borders. To make matters worse most of these immigrants don’t melt into the pot as they did with the Europeans. Even though they abandoned their country of birth, they still maintain a quasi-patriotism towards it and a resentment for their host country now, the U.S.

Civil war is many years from now and it will start in the SW, perhaps 2-3 generations from now.

I think it’s already happening but hasn’t gone full-tilt-boogie yet. It hasn’t had that one spark, as the op-ed said, yet that tells us we-the-people have had enough.

I’ve asked this many times before but I’ll ask it again. I’m relatively certain the right will win a second civil war. We have the constitution and simply being right on our side not to mention more firepower. The big question is what to do with all the rabid leftists. We can’t just let them live among us to slip that knife in between our 4th and 5th rib when we aren’t looking. They won’t ever stop their nonsense so what do we do with them? Find countries to accept them as refugees? Give them all some kind of medical treatment to stop their mental illness like a laser lobotomy?

I see the black caucus has supported Mad Maxine so they have outed themselves as public enemy number one for inciting violence and perpetuating this civil war. I posit it would be good to identify the enemy leadership in all their forms and groups so they can be “dealt with” when the time comes. We don’t want to see those who started this civil war and those who perpetuated it to get off without the due punishment they have coming.

Democrats have adopted Islamic tactics. It’s up to the party leaders to stop the terrorizing of U.S. citizens.

That is if we have an administration that wants to win. I can easily see scenarios where a sympathetic leftist administration decides to capitulate.

The Leftists would be nowhere and powerless without.........

THE MEDIA!

When will conservatives/Constitutionalists realize that?

If they would be powerless without the media, who has a plan to deal with the media?

Still waiting........
