Dollar Generals are popping up all over here in SW (Washington County) Pennsylvania.
It’s unreal how successful DG has been and how fast they’ve grown. Their stores do great business in towns of 2,000 and less and even in tiny communities at busy crossroads out in the boondocks.
Running a distribution center is non-trivial and likely not fun every day.
Absolutely!
That store has helped millions of poor, unemployed and cheap people than Clinton or Obama or Bush or any Democrat.
Dollar General growth means trickle down jobs for local thieves!
Do they sell Plastic Straws ? LOL
The what? What happen to the Director of Human Resources and the Personnel Manager?
My daughter just had her graduation from the local technical college (culinary arts). Lots of kids were getting degrees in Distribution and Product Management (or something like that). It’s probably not rocket science, but it still needs to be done properly or LOTS of people get affected.
We have one just about a 1/2 mile from the house, they carry all the basic necessities you might need for the house and the cost isn’t prohibitive. Go to the DG and pay a little more or drive 15 miles into town and fight the crowds and traffic.
Just bought a pair of shorts there, $5. I do all my clothes shopping at DG. I am a real clothes horse, very stylish.
A store full of Chinese garbage and disgusting food that’s horrible for you. No thanks.
Believe it or not they have a fair amount of stuff made here. More than I expected and they also sell knock off girl scout cookies.
Yeah, they’re springing up here in southern AZ as well! I used to snicker at dollar stores. Now I shop there several times a month.
No it isn’t I buy the same laundry soap and items all stores carry and many things in there are made in America.
What are you, a snob or something?
paper products, soaps, canned goods are all cheaper there. I buy stuff there once a week.
Any direct link to apply? At work on my phone.
Ive become a fan in the last couple years. Friends bought a lake house 20-30 minutes from a real grocery store. Lots of handy stuff in the Dollar General thats 5-8 minutes away.
