“No swimsuit, and I also heard, no evening gowns either.”
Pantsuit contest.
“Carlson gushed that this part of the cultural revolution.
About as leftist as it gets.”
She/it’s a Minnesotacrat.
. ...don’t know who owns the pageant now but it will go broke and all that will be left is the name on a piece of paper in a file drawer and someone like Trump will pick it up for fifty bucks and it will start all over again with thong bikinis and nightgowns and the whole works!

And I agree with all you said about the “ladies” at Fox. Most of us ladies who worked in the ‘70s - ‘90s were confronted with those issues (compliments), and worse. We handled them. Why’d these chicks have to go all whiny? For the big payoff by deep pockets, I guess.
He’d do anything to bleed America. Those cuts add up.
There is an obvious solution to the swim-suit competition ban:
Have every contestant wear swimwear under their ‘acceptable’ outfits, and have them all fitted with a wardrobe malfunction option. Call it a free-speech/freedom-of-expression feature.

That's because the swimsuit part is later, about 45 minutes into the broadcast.
Regards,
