The constant shouting about how women make 77 cents for every dollar a man makes is a misleading and ultimately inaccurate statement. Women are working more than they ever have and are in turn making more money now than at any point in our nations history. The discrepancies in income between men and women come down to choices and the statistics that the moaners of gender inequality in the workplace are promulgating a false narrative.
The gender wage gap is essentially nonexistent. This is a truth that many on the left do not want to face but this cannot be ignored if you take an objective look at what is really going on with the choices men and women make in their careers and take a two inch deep dive on the statistics that have been used to deceive Americans into thinking something that is inherently false.
Christina Hoff Sommers, Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, explains in a Prager University video the deceitful statistics on display and unveils the truth about the oft-mentioned wage gap between the sexes.

It exists. Obama and Hillary made certain to pay their woman staffers less.
They get that “77 cents” by comparing what women make, versus what men make, ignoring that men and women tend to go after different jobs.
Women go for jobs that have flexibility, do not require mandatory overtime, and have pleasant working conditions.
Conversely, if a job involves splicing wires in an ice storm, hammering shingles on a hot roof in August, crawling through sewers, or the possibility of having a gun pointed at the employee, the job will mostly be filled by men, who will want higher pay in exchange for the working conditions.
Only because their woman staffers valued flexibility in work hours over higher pay. A choice, by the way, that most men are not allowed to make even if they can afford it.
The whiners ought to be forced to write that on a blackboard 100 times.

Why does no one ever hit them with the Equal Pay Act of 1963? Pay discrimination based on gender is illegal.
I have often mentioned that law, when these discussions come up. Nobody seems to acknowledge that law is there.
Politicians such as Obama and Hillary often use this alleged shortfall in what women are paid as lines in speeches. They get applause from their liberal audiences, for saying they will do something about this. Yet the law on the subject already exists. What exactly would they do, if a law already exists?
Conservatives don’t even cite the law. I just don’t understand why.
The latest tactic is to say
“ only 20 percent of x trade or profession are women “
As if only when it’s 50 then the world is fair
The affirmative action crap forwomen has been out of control for years
My company has more that 50 percent women executives
Let’s just say Laz would NOT hit any of them
Gender pay is equal, we knew this 30 years ago. Yawn.
“ignoring that men and women tend to go after different jobs”
Also more women than men will choose to raise children rather than being in the workforce.
That doesnt trigger me.
I never felt cheated (except maybe being forced to do PC administrative jobs having nothing to do with my design work early on), certainly not with money.
This PC garbage about wage gap is because they compare apples and oranges. If most women are only Wal-Mart workers, of course they will make less than men if they are mostly engineers.
It also ignores that fewer women work than men, period. Many of us are housewives or the like. We do not add to that pool, then.
As well, women tend to remove themselves from the workday via mostly childbirth/leave, so they have less time on the rolls and also that is disruptive to the work flow. So they naturally have that hit against them.
It is against the law to have unequal pay and the “gap” has to do with the types of jobs men do as opposed to women. It’s that simple but liberals are retarded.
Choose.
Note the word “choose”.
Something men can’t do.
