I don’t like Starbuck’s coffee but the other morning, staying with my brother on the Upper East Side, I was forced to one because I couldn’t find the Dunkin’ Donuts. It was the same black employees you see everywhere in Manhattan - slow and surly. I could have been on the checkout line at D’Agostino’s for all the difference it made.
When I lived in the city everyone was pretty much hop to it, except for some places like Burger King and evidently Starbucks.
It’s the management that allows the employees to act that way.
