Just in time for your Memorial Day picnic: my annual public service announcement and free Costco advert:
KIRKLAND KEYLIME PIE IS BACK FOR THE SEASON!
Its still delicious (free samples!) and, surprisingly, still only $11.95 for a yuge pie that serves 20.
(or 2 very hungry limeophiles)
This year I have an additional Costco item for your picnic basket: Kirklands house branded Rose wine. Its made in Provence Domaine De LaCroix to be specific and is everything a Rose should be: light, dry, refreshing and beautiful.
Im not a wine expert but I drink a lot of roses and can tell you its delicious and a steal for its price of $9 or $10 (depending on your states tax). Most decent Roses from Provence are twice that. Heres a review if youre interested. But stock up now, last year they ran out of stock quickly well before the end of the long summer days that the wine was made for.
So thats a wrap, my #FLOTUSFriday ode in lime and rose. Please enjoy responsibly.

Doesn’t Costco hate America?
I thought this was settled science.
Was planning on a Costco run today to pick up some steaks anyway. But, now knowing there will be key lime pies available cinches the trip for me.
