Why don’t they grow wheat, barley, corn, etc?
At least you can make beer and whisky from grains.
As for kale, I am trying recall if I have ever eaten kale.
I never have. Had mustard greens a few times. Those were good.

Have you ever stripped off a piece of that vinyl-plastic material on certain kinds of paper binders after it started to ply off? If you ever tried to taste it, that would be like eating Kale
