RE: veteran interviews - my husband has been doing this for several years. We have about 30 recordings of mostly WWII veterans telling their stories. Most of these gentlemen were speaking about their war experience for the very first time.
That being said, I have no idea what to do with these recordings. Self publish a book? I don’t know.

How wonderful! Those recordings are an absolute treasure.
How about first write a book, then....sign a documentary contract with Fox or History channel.
Keep recording, keep writing.
