How hot does that decking get in the summer?

Our deck is on the west side under cover from the mid day sun but not the afternoon sun.

Not notably hot. My deck is mostly in the sun, especially starting at noon. The color is essentially reddish brown, but grey is also available. The material is essentially saw dust combined with dye and plastic that’s been baked into planks and various fittings. Check it out with Lowe’s or Home Depot. Good stuff.
