We have no business at all in any of that. That is my view. When we start killing other people and start getting the blow back from that I firmly believe all hell will break lose here. Iran had to make a show just to back up their threats....... 20-50 rockets from a multiple launch platform is a one and done thing.... They need the news about this for propaganda more than anything else.
Also Iran knows they cannot attack inside Israel that would involve civilian casualties. That would be an immediate end to Iranian presence in Syria. And all bases with any Iranian presence are already programmed into weapons control systems. These sites would be neutralized and large numbers of personnel at these would be gone..
