To all of those that Art loved to connect with and share his thoughts and stories. Art passed away March 30, following open heart surgery. This was totally unexpected and we are in such shock. I hope this will go through and let each of you know why you are not hearing from him. He loved to talk, argue, share and research on Free Republic and he got to know many of you. His wife Shannon
RIP
Blessings to you in this loss of Art.
May God be a comfort to you, may He surround you with His love, and may you draw near to Him.
Prayers for you and for your family and friends. Art was a great FReeper!
How great thou, Art!

My deepest sympathies - Art was a good man and a good FReeper.
My Condolences Shannon.
Art was a great guy.
So sorry for your loss. We have had so many Freepers cross over that I think God may very well have a FreeRepublic corner up in heaven where Freepers can meet to research, argue (in a friendly manner of course) and watch politics from a whole different perspective.
May God grant you peace. God Bless
I’m so sorry to hear about his passing. I remember reading his posts as I clicked through FreeRepublic and had to smile at his username as my dad goes by “Art” and is from Idaho.
My family will keep yours in our prayers.
May Art receive many heavenly blessings with Jesus and may Jesus comfort those Art left behind.
Thank you Shannon——RIP,Art

Really sad to hear this and I hope you know God is with you Shannon.
Eternal rest Grant unto Art O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Prayers for you and your family Shannon.

I’ll make it a point to go to Priest Lake and catch a few trout for Art, then release them. RIP Art.

May God bless and keep him. R.I.P.

Shannon, so sorry for your loss. I work in open heart surgery and always feel disappointed when it just doesn’t fix everything.
I can tell by the quotes Art chose for his home page that he TRULY understood and loved America. Peace to you.
