I imagine they are investigating the allegations lodged against him. Which of course is the only fair thing to do, instead of just taking allegations by one or more persons at face value.

Not surprised in the least. I am sure this refers to Fox’s news gathering in DC that they feed to local stations. If you watch KTVU-2 (Fox SF Bay Area - Oakland) local news it’s just like watching NBC, especially the national stuff.
He wrote a good book “At Any Cost” regarding the 200 election.
