In secrecy the lead prosecutor in the Bunkerville Standoff case, Steven Myhre, was moved from his First Assistant US Attorney position to a new one in the Nevada US Attorney's office in recent months.
His new position as "senior litigation counsel" includes duties like training new prosecutors in the Nevada office.
Myhre was roundly criticized by a federal judge (Gloria M. Navarro) for deliberately withholding evidence proving the innocence of defendants in the Bunkerville Standoff case.
The case involved rancher Cliven Bundy, his family members, and supporters who came to the family's defense in April 2014 when the federal government seized Bundy Ranch cattle, surrounded the area with snipers and attacked family members.
Ammon Bundy posted on Facebook today word from Todd Engel who was convicted with evidence proving his innocence withheld and now remains in jail in limbo in connection with Bunkerville.
Engel says his lawyer (Warren Markowitz) has seen the second Wooten whistleblower letter regarding misconduct by the federal government in the case.

Engel's lawyer wants the second letter to be made public and to overturn the guilty pleas and convictions in connection with Bunkerville. It is hoped that the second letter will be released to the public soon.
Todd Engel is trying to raise money (10-thousand dollars) so his lawyer can depose Larry Wooten under oath so his words can become more than what the federal government now claims is "hearsay".
Engel is imprisoned at the Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump and Greg Burleson at the Allenwood Federal Prison in Pennsylvania. Both men convicted with Burleson sentenced to 68 years.
Jerry Delemus, who entered a guilty plea, is jailed at the Devens Federal Prison in Massachusetts on an 87 month sentence.
The interim US Attorney in Nevada, Dayle Ekieson, has had her appointment extended by the chief federal judge in Nevada, US District Judge Gloria M. Navarro. Navarro was the judge who presided over the Bunkerville Standoff trials.
Elieson's January appointment by Attorney General Jeff Sessions was for 120 daya and Navarro's approval was required to extend the appointment.
She will serve as US Attorney for Nevada until a new US Attorney is confirmed by the US Senate.

I’ve always know that the court system is not always fair, however in my younger years I did not realize how often criminal intent of the prosecutors can happen.
The links I listed as not working were duplicated. I should have proofed better instead of 5 un-working links there were actually 2. So not so many read flags.
