Democrats shower Macron with standing ovations and respect. It is infuriating to watch them treat a FOREIGN president with due respect while treating their OWN president with no due respect. It is a shame that voters know nothing about whom they vote for but vote anyway.
He played a lot of political ping-pong. He’d throw a sop to American conservative principles, then he’d throw a bushel basket full of liberal candy (enviro-, multicult- globo- stuff) to get standing o’s from Trump’s opponents.
He was pretty damned deft at it, too. More so than I expected.

No, he is not a true ally to Trump. He is a casual ally w/ no commitment to anything but euro-weenie principles.
But I must say, I see why he beat Marine le Pen; he is as good a speaker as we’ve seen from Europe since Alexander Dubcek.
A brilliant move by Potus, a foreign leader, one of America’s olded allies, telling our Congress of his admiration for President Trump. Policy and philosophy differences will not even be noticed by the average American who will only see the comradery and symbolism of France + USA. Meanwhile Frau Merkel and PM May will watch enviously as France creates a tighter bond with the US than they have done.
He is not an ally at all! He is a hand-picked and groomed pretty-face for the Rothschild Banking Cartel. Luciferian New World Order all the way.
