Sessions was an early supporter of Trump but he should have stayed in the Senate.

Sessions cannot create new law. If Congress wants free and open pot let THEM approve it.

“Synthetic Marijuana” is deadly. The fact that it is called Marijuana is a complete misnomer.

Precedent: Right After 1992 Election Bill Clinton Fired U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions Ask yourself this question. If someone like Bill Clinton fired you, would you spend the next twenty some odd years preparing a storm to loose on the players. Bet your ass I would. What Sessions is bringing will be IRONCLAD. No one escapes.

Drugs used to be legal. That is why they are illegal now. Bad consequences and even worse unintended consequences.

Example: Do you want your kindergartener eating pot brownies that an older kid gave him/her on the bus that he/she pilfered from mom and dad’s “stash” in the fridge.

Big pharma provides more free flights, tropical vacations, drugs, booze and hookers to the Senate and Congress than does the agricultural lobby.

Sessions only interest in keeping marijuana illegal is that it keeps money coming into his pocket. He has made millions in the private prison industry, namely Corrections Corporation of America.

“Marinol” is the trade-name for Tetrahydrocannabinol, and was approved by the FDA in 1985.

(AbbieVie is the current manufacturer.)
http://www.marinol.com/

It’s in Schedule 3, same as opiates & amphetamine. Meaning, written or electronic RX only, with no-refills, and your Doctor must physically see you to legally write the script.

Hydrocodone (Vicodin et al)was up-scheduled from Schedule 4 to Schedule 3 to cut down on misuse. (That was in 2013 IIRC.)
[Schedule 4 substances can be written to include (up to)5 refills within a 6 month period.]

All Controlled Substances approved for use & sale in the United States have specified yearly production-quotas issued by the FDA and DEA.
