The history of Lexington & Concord is fascinating, HOWEVER the included utter disparagement of the Constitution (and hence America & her history since 1789) is LOONEY TUNES stuff:

Hundreds of thousands of men have died for that Constitution. How dare you condemn it!!!

Well, even back then, some still didn’t have it quite right. Our forefathers didn’t give us our rights. As the Declaration of Independence, which is presumed in the Constitution, says, our rights are pre-existent and God-given as we are born with our “natural” rights including Life, Liberty, and the Pursuits of Happiness.

As the Ninth and Tenth Amendments confirm, the first eight amendments are a reminder to the feds of a sampling of pre-existent rights they are not to touch, notwithstanding the other pre-existent rights not mentioned.

The narrative of the initial militia-v.-Regulars fight below “The First Strike of the Match” is fascinating - very well written and engrossing.

IMO, the political theory espoused above “The First Strike of the Match” is pure poppycock. The Constitution is the greatest, most inspired political document maybe ever. Many confuse the current 80%+ unconstitutional federal government with the Constitution itself. That is a fatal mistake. Our mission is to defeat and take down the 80% unconstitutional portion of the federal government and put it back into its Constitutional cage. The same Divine Providence that helped the Colonists to beat the greatest military power in the world then, will help us against the greatest political power now.

The article is from Zeroguv which is basically an anarchistic website that thinks that no government is the best government, hence the complaint against the Constitution. I for one tend to agree with your assessment above. I posted the article for the historical aspect of the story of the battle of Lexington and Concord.
