Former FBI Director James Comey told George Stephanopoulos of ABC News in an interview broadcast on Sunday night that he “deeply” respects former President Barack Obama “and his higher loyalty to the values I care a lot about” but that current President Donald Trump is “morally unfit” to be president.
When Obama, who Comey believes has a “higher loyalty to the values I care a lot about,” served in the Illinois state legislature, he repeatedly opposed a bill that would have treated babies who survived late-term abortions as “persons” who have the same constitutional rights as any other person.
“I came to deeply respect him, and his higher loyalty to the values I care a lot about,” Comey told Stephanopoulos in describing a post-2016-election meeting with Obama. “I almost got emotional in that moment, ’cause, again, I’d been walking around like Bruce Willis in ‘The Sixth Sense.’ And have the president of the United States say, “I still respect you for the reasons I did originally,” meant a lot to me.”
Comey went on to tell Obama that he was dreading the Trump presidency.
“I said, ‘Thank you, Mr. President. It has been a nightmare. I’m just—I’ve just tried to do the right thing,’” Comey said. “And he said, ‘I know. I know.’ And then I said, ‘I think my wife would kill me if I didn’t take this chance to thank you, and to tell you how much I’m going to miss you.’” …

Comey strikes me as the big kid in school that got bullied, even though he was a foot taller than all the others.
He couldn’t determine Hillary’s intent, but he knows Trump’s morality.
And this guy ran a national police agency.
If I had the opportunity to speak with President Trump I would ask why he did it that way rather than in a face to face meeting or in a phone conversation. He had lots of practice saying "You're fired!"
Was it respect or obsession?
And being pro-planned murder is morally *fit*?
