Big C for those of you who might care. Prayers are welcome, of course.
Glad you are back!
Clever girl...
Prayers up. Good to see you around again.

Did they also count the many raptors that were killed by the wind turbines?
My thanks. Cheers.
Thank you so much. Prayers are all I can hope for at this point, so I appreciate yours and hope things get better somehow.
There ARE no wind turbines up here, if you are referring to the ones the power company uses. There are some personal ones, but I hardly think they are a threat to any raptors let alone the little sparrows hereabouts.
I’ve seen quite a few Osprey, however. Beautiful birds...
prayer’s your way friend
on our little acreage in the Ozarks we are unable to keep any type of small animal or fowl without loosing all of them to hawks, owls, eagles..kinda of cool I always thought...key word is chicken tractors around these here parts...not sure neighbors are as forgiving
Were they poaching his drones? Target practice? Must have had a reason.
I would never recommend killing them or violating the law, but they are nasty birds we don't need to many of. They will swoop down and take small pets, songbirds, and whatever else they can. Then they start eating them alive.
I thought of this the other night for vegans and PETA. It is their right; I wouldn't deny them that. But even if they convert more people into being vegans, this is elementary, but I thought there is still a pecking order in the food chain and won't stop carnivores because that is one of the laws of nature, Isaiah's wolf or lion lying down with the lamb notwithstanding.
Prayers for your continued healing.
As for the guy who did this, I hope they throw the book at him.
I don't understand why people would shoot raptors. We have a redtailed hawk and his lady that are regular hunters in our fields. They'll go after ground squirrels, baby jackrabbits and cottontails, packmice and kangaroo mice. And when the peacocks visit, we know they're after snakes. (I don't think peacocks are technically a raptor, but they're welcome all the same)
His mug shot shows him grinning. What a jerk
So glad you’re feeling better, Dear.
Prayers sent for you
Katy
Prayers up for you FRiend.
Here in New York City, the red-tailed hawks roost in the tall buildings. Their favorite foods are pigeons and rats, so we like them!
God Bless you, Utilizer. I’ll pray for you daily!
According to the article, it would appear he had some manner of personal tiny business of fowl design that the hawks and falcons among other predators were cutting into his planned bottom line so he was stealthily wiping out the competition, thus the dead bodies beginning to appear all about his property.
Thanks so much for the prayers, now I just hope someone is listening. :)
Well, thanks much for the prayers, FRiend. I will take all I can get.
Try to remember that there must be a huge amount of vermin in the area to support large numbers of birds of prey, otherwise you would not have that problem with small pets, and you really do not want to know what your home would appear like if they were to all (the hawks and such) disappear. A few extra precautions with the small pets and such is just the tradeoff such a situation would call for. Good luck.
