"Take a virtual tour of the Moon in all-new 4K resolution, thanks to data provided by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft. As the visualization moves around the near side, far side, north and south poles, we highlight interesting features, sites, and information gathered on the lunar terrain."
I have a VR rig that I have fallen in love with.
Once you experience something in VR you never can go 2D again.
I have taken a walking tour of the ISS (VERY cramped and mostly windowless).
I have also space-walked, sky dived, taken a balloon up to the literal stratosphere and Indy raced as well as toured some of the greatest locations in the world.
The games are more fun than you can imagine but immersive travel is the best.
I hope it sticks and also they eventually settle on a single platform (I have the Samsung but have tried the cheapies and the cheapies are pointless).
I did do a 3D “real time” reproduction of the entire first moon landing which was cool but 3D reproductions are a little cartoony still — getting better, though.
freedumb2003,
Would you consider telling us more details about your rig and the resources you’ve found? I am close to making a purchase.
Samsung but it only works with Samsung Galaxy hones (which I have used since the S3).
I got it for free when I purchased my Galaxy S7. I got a 3D camera with my S8 and while it is graining in daytime it is great to relive things like walks on the beach in Cancun.
My next purchase is a good quality 3D camera but man are they expensive!
“phones” not “hones” LOL!
It takes some getting used to since the games don’t come with much in the way of instructions and the companies ignore your emails.
Sometimes you can get some help on the online forums but a lot of times a major stumbling block out of the gate is something that Millennials don’t seem to encounter.
The good news is there is a 100% refund policy in 3 days or so if you have played the game < 1 hour.

Thanks! I appreciate the info.
