I felt perfectly safe walking around late at night around Jerusalem. There were even families with young kids playing in small parks. Young women, old men all walking by themselves, too, not thinking anything of it.
I believe it. Not yet visited Israel. Is there a drug addiction problem there? Absence of drugs is what makes Singapore so safe. That is in spite of a population mix of Chinese, Arabs and Indians.
