The UN “Human Rights” Council Passes New Anti-Israel Resolutions (Again)

On Friday, the notoriously anti-Israel United Nations “Human Rights” Council (UNHRC) once again met to discuss, or rather condemn, Israel. In its latest round of resolutions targeted at the Jewish State, the UNHRC passed a series of resolutions which effectively singled out Israel in what they referred to as “violations of international law” and “human rights violations”. You can see the list of the anti-Israel agenda items, taken from the UNHRC website below.

1. Human rights in the occupied Syrian Golan 2. Right of the Palestinian people to self-determination 3. Human rights situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem 4. [Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in the occupied Syrian Golan] 5. Ensuring accountability and justice for all violations of international law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem

There was not one agenda item to discuss Arab terrorism and it doesn’t stop there. Notably absent from each of the topics listed above was Israel’s security concerns and the threat to Israel’s security, which as anyone who follows the news would know includes rockets fired from Gaza into Israel, car-ramming attacks, stabbings, and rock-throwing, just to name a few.

In response to the typical anti-Israel discussions at the UN and its subsidiary UNHRC, the US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, issued the following statement:

“Today, the UN Human Rights Council adopted five resolutions condemning Israel. At the same time, the Council adopted only one resolution each against North Korea, Iran, and Syria. Every March, the Council sets aside only two sessions to debate human rights violations and abuses in all countries and another entire session just to debate a single country, Israel.

“When the Human Rights Council treats Israel worse than North Korea, Iran, and Syria, it is the Council itself that is foolish and unworthy of its name. It is time for the countries who know better to demand changes. Many countries agree that the Council’s agenda is grossly biased against Israel, but too few are willing to fight it. When that happens, as it did today, the Council fails to fulfill its duty to uphold human rights around the world. The United States continues to evaluate our membership in the Human Rights Council. Our patience is not unlimited. Today’s actions make clear that the organization lacks the credibility needed to be a true advocate for human rights,” said Ambassador Haley.”

Earlier this month, the United Nations High Commissioner for “Human Rights” Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein presented his “findings” on the current situation in Judea, Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. In the document which he prepared, Al Hussein called the building of communities in Judea and Samaria “war crimes”. Of course, also absent in his report were any mention of Arab terror directed at Israelis.

In response to Al Hussein’s accusations, citizens from more than 30 countries around the world and friends of Lev Haolam signed a petition and letter requesting the UN Secretary-General to suspend UN “Human Rights” High Commissioner Zaid Ra’ad al-Hussein. As reported in a recent Arutz Sheva article on the petition, Nati Rom, the founder of Lev Haolam said, “The Commissioner not only doesn’t fulfill his role in a true manner, but also disrespects the UN institution and the international community. His behavior angers many in the international community. I thank our supporters in the world who have decided not to remain silent regarding this injustice. I hope their voices will be heard and the Secretary-General will restore sanity to the Human Rights Commission and suspend the Commissioner. I call on all those who hold human rights close to their hearts to join this important struggle.”

The UN actually took a moment from raping children,
selling women and babies as slaves, and protecting
Islamic terrorists and slavers worldwide.

Time to remove the UN to Damascus where it belongs.

Check this out. Paul is a Brit who moved away from conspiracy theories and to the New Right. Looks very pro-Israel and pro-Trump.

Islam never built the necessary infrastructure like the Christians of Great Britain for creativity, invention innovation, achievement and success.
Islam is purely piratical.

“”Many countries agree that the Council’s agenda is grossly biased against Israel, but too few are willing to fight it””

Thirty countries signing a petition to get rid of the High Commissioner doesn’t show that they’re not willing to fight. How many countries does it take? I’d like to know what the 30 countries are.
