My mother got it about 3 years ago & it still bothers her & she has to do special eye drops. She has been thru hell w/ shingles. After reading this thread I think I am going to spring for the new VAX.
Awful stuff. My husband got shingles in his 40’s & also developed Bell’s palsy. His was mild & no lingering effects.
Yikes in his forties? I hope the freepers reading this thread don’t put off taking the VAX.
