Faux-conservative David Brooks is little more than a jabbering clown with thin academic credentials. And PBS has a penchant for picking such faux-conservative clowns supposedly to represent “conservative” ideas.
Back in the 90s, PBS also employed the false “conservative” David Gergen as a supposed “Republican” alternative to the Demo Mark Shields all the while during the 1992 presidential election campaign Gergen was negotiating a position with the Clinton crowd. Characteristically, on PBS Gergen couldn’t bad-mouth Bush I enough. Gergen now has some position at the Kennedy School at Harvard; I saw the mumbling weasel several times when I was working on a book at Harvard fifteen or so years ago.
During the election 1992 campaign another favourite featured on PBS was the utterly repulsive left-lib shill Bill Moyers. Yes, PBS has a lot to answer for. . . . Defund PBS!
Ah, you bring up the names of some repulsive fakers, for sure.

......
Most definitely.
