"Remember the Alabamity Calamity. We should not have lost that election"

Luther Strange would have been a very good senator, and a strong supporter of Trump's agenda.

I personally do not mind Cruz at all. When compared to McShame and other RINO’s, he’s really pretty good.

“Bottom line, Cruz (and his inner CoC establishment heart) can never be trusted to do what’s right for America.”

You mean like Trump with his new gun-grabber ideas?

Let’s look at the worst case, Travis County, Austin, the state capitol and hi-tech center.
73,000 population increase from 2010 to 2018
73,691 Dem primary vote increase 2010 to 2018
3,299 Rep primary vote increase 2010 to 2018

We can play with the numbers several different ways. But bottom line, the Dems are welcoming and registering the new immigrants to Austin from CA, the Rust Belt and Blue state and Blue city areas. Furthermore, the Democrats are getting them to come out and vote in primaries. Furthermore, the Dems are getting long time residents not in the immigration wave to come out and vote Dem in the primary.

Take a look at the increase in early and absentee voting from 2010 to 2018. All of the Dem success can be attributed to an effective ground game and not to message or candidate or issues.

The Republicans in Travis county, the state capitol, seem to be asleep at the wheel, fat and happy. The Dems are hungry.

Those are scary numbers. Last time I looked last night, the Dems were doing good in Dallas County also.

I don’t think Texans are going to be taking advice about conservatism from Ohio anytime soon....maybe you should spend more time turning Ohio red!!!

I am quite pleased that Cruz won.

He has authored 25 conservative bills in his first years as a senator as opposed Hillary who authored 3 bills renaming roads and one building or Kerry who has authored 11 bills in 28 years, 8 of which renamed infrastructure. He’s a good senator.

Continuation of post 51:
Cruz was also sent to DC to shake up the senate. He was not sent there to make friends. He was sent to do the right thing

He doesn’t care if you like him. If he did care he wouldn’t be Texan.

See how that works?

Right! The “Blue Wave” in Texas, yesterday, should really make us nervous. The Democrats were able to turn out half the voters that the Republicans did! That spells trouble for 2018.

Beto O’Rourke co-sponsored the democrat gun grabbing bill. That shit won’t fly in Texas.

Well, Trump did (insanely) imply that Cruz’s father killed JFK! LOL! It was odd, to say the least.

Does anyone know the circumstances behind Beto’s burglary arrest? Since his daddy was a judge and a friend of the governor so surprise he wasn’t convicted. He probably is good for a few #metoo incidents also. Should be fun!

I am glad that Cruz and Trump got together after Trump implied that his dad was in league with Oswald.

His dad turned against Castro in 1959 because of the injustices of the Castro regime. His dad’s younger sister was tortured by castro. Starting in 1959 his dad spoke against Castro at many gatherings. He was not a supporter of Castro at the time of the picture.

O’Rourke has NO chance with his liberal views.

Especially in South TX.

lol. Ted won’t be the reason for GOP turnout, in November.

Trump and #MAGA will.

Most Texans will hold our noses and vote for Ted, to keep Texas red.
