Cliven Bundy was the keynote speaker at the Independent American Party of Nevada convention as the Nugget hotel-casino in Sparks, Nevada last Friday. 66,000 Nevada voters or 4.5 percent of the electorate there are reported to be registered to vote with that party.
Bundy himself told reporters he is a member of the party and wants to see it grow.
Reporters wanted to know if Cliven Bundy has plans to run for public office or sue state or county officials that failed to protect him from federal authorities in connection with the 2014 Bunkerville Standoff.
Bundy says he has not decided about any lawsuit yet and did not say whether he has plans to run for public office.
In his speech Cliven Bundy said that he would have preferred a jury trial to go forward to expose the federal government's wrongdoing more, but believes the trial had to be abandoned by the federal government to avoid embarrassing the federal government.
The federal prosecutors in Las Vegas led by Republican Steve Myhre and now supervised by a US Attorney appointed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Dayle Elieson, have asked Democrat US District Judge Gloria Navarro to reconsider her ruling to dismiss charges against Cliven Bundy, his sons Ammon and Ryan and Ryan Payne "with prejudice".
A change in the "with prejudice" dismissal would allow the federal government to prosecute Cliven Bundy again.
"If they come and try to take us to trial again, which they indicate they might, that is just fine. We'll expose them.

The US government doesn’t own the surface rights on any arable land in the Guadalupe Hidalgo treaty states. It is all privately owned. The government only owns the underlying fee title.
They do not have the right under the treaty to collect rents for grazing.

His contention is that its locally owned land and he’s sent the eight thousand dollars owed over the years to Clark County, Nevada which they have refused.
The best thing about Cliven is, he’s not as stupid as Finicum.
The forum is for all. I personally do not care for all the Catholic stuff, so I just skip on past it. I suggest you do the same for the Bundy stuff. A lot less stress.

“Stupid” is a pretty soft word compared to “redneck”, ‘retard” or even more pornographic words applied to the Bundy’s and their supporters by law enforcement in Las Vegas.
The “Wooten Memo” brought all that out from the federal government’s own whistle blower.
It was the demeaning words applied to LaVoy and others no doubt that reflect the hatred and the violent intentions of law enforcement that day when Finicum was killed.
