Idiot Argument - Lets ban the AR-15! Ok, lets ban that weapon. Now what? Is the problem solved? Will there still be killers? Yes!
IMO - Many are asking why this is so common now. It is the break down of families, the anti-social nature of society due to social media, the encouraged disrespect of peers and authority, the moral decay of entertainment. Look at history - sex before marriage was frowned upon then babies before mariage and now it is ok to have sex, babies, and drug use and no marriage. God has been removed and morals and values (self esteem) went with it.
These morons jump out every time there’s a shooting blathering about gun law/gun bans then go about posturing about how they’re solving the issue.
Imagine a guy that loves to kill people by running them down with a corvette. So we ban corvettes.
They still make Mustangs. And Camry’s and smart cars.
These idiots are glamorizing AR-15s. Because of the name and the appearance the left has made it their gun control boogie man and theyve propagandize day it so these killers get them. Most would barely know it from other guns if not for the media manipulation.
All roads lead to a culture poisoned by violent hollywood imagery, and the lefts’ ultra-violent political rhetoric going back fifty years. They own the whole thing.
As soon as the conversation turns to ‘what people should be allowed to have’, the case has been made for the 2nd Amendment.
Idiots like to pretend that a .22 isn’t deadly.
I heard that the Florida school shooter was an adopted DACA baby.
Bingo!!!
Maybe they can pass a Bill that outlaws killing innocents with AR-15s....
So a (probably) prescription drug-addled, discipline problem kid went on a shooting spree in a Self-Defense Prohibited zone?
How is this the rifle’s fault?
If you want to save more lives, don’t ban guns. Ban the wheel instead.
Can you see how people in the Obama organization could misuse authority to detain people that in their opinion seemed suspicious?
Very true - back in the Reagan years, my favorite gun shop had a small number of AR-15s (all Colt at the time), as well as other "black guns" of the period, such as the HK-91. One small corner of the display rack. The vast majority of the inventory was "sporting" style or retro-military style carbines and rifles. Ruger Mini-14s were more popular than ARs and AKs were scarcely seen at that time.
A friend of mine back then had an FFL, so he was more connected to the trends - including the Chinese bringing AKS and SKS rifles into our market - and at very low prices. Soon, Bush 41 was in office and the trouble started - the media soon began beating the "assault weapons" drum and the Bush-Clinton era brought government declarations about what sort of firearms Americans should be allowed to have.
A quarter-century later, we have more semi-automatic rifles (especially "military pattern") than any other type on the shelf. The situation in many gun shops now is the reverse of what I saw during the Reagan years. Unintended consequences... and the political left *still* fails to perceive how their emotional but ill-informed blather only works in our favor.
Even when mental health is addressed, it can’t be stopped. We live in a broken world ever since “The woman you put here with me-she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it.” Adam and Eve’s kids commenced to start murdering each other. Adam even shifted blame away from himself like the gun grabbers shift blame to the gun from the shooter.
It might be curbed if it was well known that many teachers carry firearms and are trained to use them, and security guards at schools are armed, instead of posting “Shoot Fish In a Barrel Here” signs. Especially effective once a few of these nut cases are shot down quickly upon brandishing their weapons.
The terrorist in Paris killed more people with a cargo truck than the idiot in Florida with his AR-15.
“They still make Mustangs...”
And big-tired Texas-turn over pickups!
