Absolutely. Look, I do NOT take this lightly. I think Melania indeed had spiritual concerns. To the non-Christian, this would appear as crazy as voodoo. To the Christian, this would appear necessary.

Even non-Catholics have seen enough movies with holy water blessing to not freak out over this. There’s no voodoo crazy thinking. I don’t think Bing Crosby movies have been relegated to the trash bin. And there are constant articles on the blessing of boats and the blessing of pets. It’s no big deal.
