Former Obama State Department official Jonathan Winer, in an attempt to come clean and shape the narrative before being exposed, confirmed that he passed on a dossier from Clinton operatives to the author of the infamous Trump dossier. In an op-ed in the Washington Post on Thursday titled “Devin Nunes is investigating me. Here’s the truth,” Winer publicly confirmed reports that he had passed on a report he received from Clinton operatives to dossier author Christopher Steele in the fall of 2016, right before the election.

This sounds like more of the dam crumbling. People have been asking for a long time "which canary is going to sing first?" and "Why aren't the rank and file speaking up?" It's interesting that he is speaking up now before being called into a Grand Jury. What is the upside for him? He can't leverage this for immunity (unless he knows a lot more than he is saying). Maybe this is his way to communicate to DJ "let's make a deal."

He is linked to the Clinton foundation. He was paid large amounts of money to promote his own business interests in Libya. In return Clinton steered whatever she could to Sid. Sessions doesn’t want his cut revealed so he stays “quiet”
