A Timeline of Sedition

“I bought all the presidents men. Figure i needed to brush up on watergate.” —Text message from Lisa Page to her lover, FBI Director of Counter Intelligence, Peter Strozk.

With all the memos and hot hair flying around these days in Washington DC, one word that has been noticeably absent is the word SEDITION.

According to our laws, Seditious conspiracy occurs when two or more persons conspire to overthrow, put down or to destroy by force the government of the United States and those found guilty shall be fined and/or imprisoned up to 20 years. As defined by Webster’s Dictionary, Sedition is incitement of resistance to, or insurrection against, lawful authority.

Since there were at least Brittons and Russians involved, that goes to treason.

Imho of course..

Also:

> “Treason appears to be concerned with a foreign enemy ...”

Not true, far from it. One of the original traitors was Benedict Arnold and there have been several since who were American citizens OWING ALLEGIANCE.

Also again, look at the statute on Treason that I posted a link to. Treason applies only to those OWING ALLEGIANCE. Foreign enemies owe no such allegiance.

You are welcome.

Recently read this take on Jim Jones’s actions and behavior which remind me of Demorats today....what they do and how they affect their followers.....just interesting.....

...”Jones very nearly achieved something no world leader could accomplish, short of nuclear war—the deaths of all his followers. And not only did he poison their bodies—along the way, he poisoned their lives as well, often bringing about their utter moral corruption, humiliation, and estrangement from the normal bonds of familial love...

-— This man manipulated politicians, newspeople, other churches, etc by slander, dividing loyalties within the families, arranged interracial marriages to show face, staged ‘assassination plots’ such as paying people to shoot into the church to scare his loyal flock into protecting them, had Temple members go through potential member’s garbage to exploit them by pretending to have ESP, you name it, this man did it....Had people pretend to drop dead so he can ‘bring them back to life’.

He pretended to be a Civil Rights activist to draw in the poor blacks, having them believe that he was a champion of racial equality. ....There was no stopping this sick, demented man....

.....He didn’t just take lives, he took minds, bodies and souls. This man damaged people spiritually, psychologically, physically and emotionally and aided in destroying people’s reputations and people’s families; and he did all of this without the least bit of contrition or remorse.

This man deserved a high ranking position in the Devil’s legion.

The penalty for sedition can also be death.

You are mixing things up. You probably need to read the statutes again.

Treason is concerned with two types of people. Americans and foreigners. Americans are giving aid to foreigners who belong to an enemy. The penalty is for the Americans who violate the law.

Sedition applies to people who are in the USA or other places under the jurisdiction of the USA.

Also, when did Arnold commit treason and when was the Constitution agreed to? Start there and see what thought occurs to you.

Well. let’s look at them:

http://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?path=/prelim@title18/part1/chapter115&edition=prelim

§2381. Treason
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

What does it say in the first 7 words?

So you still think treason applies to “foreign enemies”? You think they owe allegiance to the US?

Now go look at the linked statute for Seditious Conspiracy. It says persons under the jurisdiction of the US.

Again, you are misreading and misrepresenting both what I wrote and what both statutes say.

The sedition statute doesn’t apply to people under the jurisdiction of the US. It applies to people in PLACES that are under the jurisdiction of the US. That is an important distinction that you are misinterpreting.

Also, I never said that treason APPLIES to enemies. I said the statute is concerned with two types of people, Americans and enemies. CONCERNSD WITH, not APLIES TO. This is also an important distinction that you are not taking note of.

The following people have been tried under treason in the United States:

Philip Vigol and John Mitchell
John Fries
Aaron Burr — third vice president of the United States
Governor Thomas W. Dorr
John Brown
Aaron Dwight Stevens
William Bruce Mumford
Walter Allen
Martin James Monti
Max Haupt
Robert Henry Best
Iva Toguri D’Aquino
Mildred Gillars
Tomoya Kawakita

> “ It applies to people in PLACES that are under the jurisdiction of the US. That is an important distinction that you are misinterpreting.”

You want to argue semantics? Jurisdiction is a setting and body where laws are applied and enforced. It is common parlance to say a person is ***under*** the jurisdiction of a nation’s laws to mean the laws apply to that person. I paraphrased the clause using ‘under’ rather than ‘subject to the’; big deal. A foreigner in the US or territories of its jurisdiction, ‘under’ its jurisdiction may be tried for sedition if they are charged with what the statute spells out.

Treason does not mention ‘jurisdiction’ and the treason statute does not mention ‘concern’ for enemies. A person owing allegiance can be tried for treason without any relationship to US enemies. Such other persons giving aid and comfort to enemies or joining enemies may be tried for treason. Foreign enemies are not triable for treason unless they retain US citizenship, nor are they triable for treason even if operating on US Soil.

Levying war against a State or the United States can be manifest in many ways. One is a hot war, another is a coup, another is espionage that brings grave harm.

You’re making stuff up now. Boring.

Very clever to try to make it look like I was using a different definition of concern. That’s another misrepresentation.

Buh bye.

Hot hair?

I mention "sedition" in every reply to the ongoing Barack/Hillary/Soros/MSM mess, the attack on our Presidency.

Sedition always was (is?) a hanging crime...
Today, it should be more so than ever!

Let us face it, the Democrats have turned our great republic into a BANANA REPUBLIC where the elite are just petty corrupt official doing what ever they can to enrich themselves.

You left out the most important and "enabling" factor and "enticement" factor : in Congress, there are always Billions$ available for stealing directly or indirectly.

How do illiterates, ignorant, IQ-deprived morons without a pot to piss in become multimilionnaires, after 2 or 20 terms in office?

The Founding Fathers never imagined in their worst nightmares, how subhumans (like the Carpetbagger Pelosi or the Mau mau Maxine Waters) COULD ever qualify to actually be elected to a high Federal Office...

Seems Barky has gone to ground lately. Must big killing him to have to keep that fat mouth of his shut.

Might be the world of hurt that is slowly descending on him... including perjury, lying to Congress and either treason or sedition, whichever does NOT require loyalty to the Constitution and the Nation...

The legal challenge will be steep. The other thing is unless a state can file a charge and convict, they will all be pardoned when a Rat gets elected. So......what states are they from???????

Every state east of the Rockies, plus California, Washington and maybe Oregon...

If this was what a Deep State coup looks like, the Deep State is so feeble that we don't have to worry much about them.

But if the Deep State is as powerful and as frightening as people claim, a coup by them would be quick, successful, and not recognized by many as a coup.

This was a fishing expedition. Some people knew there wasn't anything to be found. Others thought there was. But they were all hoping something would turn up.

Nowadays, somebody is always declaring that a presidential election was fraudulent or invalid and the result needs to be overturned. That's common practice.

What makes this different was the connection between the Clinton campaign at one end and the FBI on the other. Actual law enforcement authorities usually aren't involved in such operations (so far as we know).
