How’re we doing on the WMD search, George?

You may have missed it, but they were found, and used in Syria.

You may have missed it, but Iraq and Syria are two different countries, and back in the early 2000's Assad and Hussein hated one another due to a border dispute and the whole Shia-Sunni thing.

Furthermore, Bush's claim before the war wasn't about chemical weapons, it was about nuclear weapons. The Niger "yellow cake" story was one of the big propaganda selling points at the time.

Possibly some, yes, though not fully proven. Any ideas as to why the Bush people didn't make that connection and publicly defend their position?

Besides chemical weapons were not used in Syria unless you believe the CIA/state department sponsored Syrian Jihadi rebels of course.

Bush lied.
