Lies by omission are still lies
When common folks make large and frequent campaign donations there is typically a not so obvious reason for their allegiance. This cat is getting some quid pro quo for the dough.

There is no attack on the Bureau, as the former Special Agent claims. Rather, the ongoing effort is to expose abuses by those at the top done for partisan political purposes. Those individuals do not represent the Bureau. They are outliers who have damaged the reputation of a great organization.
Most people I know - including myself don’t contribute to campaigns. Maybe 1’s in a great while we might. This tells me all I need to know. Dirty.
