FBI Director Christopher Wray replaced embattled FBI top lawyer James Baker with Dana Boente to take over as general counsel just days ago.
But that was before Boentes name was divulged publicly by the House Intel FISA memo showing Boente signed one of the FISA applications that has since been proven problematic and chock full of phony information posing as intelligence to seemingly trick approval from the FISA court to surveil Donald Trump and his team members.
Boente may have to step down form his new FBI post. But Wray would have known this before hiring Boente, so why did he hire him? Perhaps Boentes name was one of the names Wray was lobbying the White House to redact.

Wrays New Pick for FBI General Counsel Signed Tainted FISA Warrant Application While Acting Attorney General
These people are purposefully fracking incompetent.
Is there not any honest employees at the FBI?
Fire them all. It is a cesspool at the FBI.
Give Boente the BOOT
No, they’re dirty, plain and simple.
Who the hell ever thought Chris Wray was a good pick for Director FBI?
Maybe he didn’t know.
Doubt all the Deep Staters ran to him with all the incriminating evidence when he joined to clean up the place.
May explain why he wanted the names redacted. He might not be responsible for Comey’s conspirators, but this was his promotion.
He should have known. (If he knew and did it anyways, time for him to go to also, just for being a dope.)
This explains why the FBI wanted names redacted.
I wonder who else will be exposed as part of the Deep State.
Not at the top level, there isn’t!
Trump needs to completely clean house on the justice end of things in the Executive Branch.
Fire Sessions and replace him with someone who won’t recuse himself on anything, and who is willing to figuratively chop off a lot of heads to eliminate even the appearance of corruption (financial, electoral or otherwise).
Fire Rosenstein.
Fire Dana Boente.
Fire Strock (however he spells his name), fire his girlfriend.
Fire Weissman.
Fire anyone connected with the frauds committed against the FISA court - and then PROSECUTE THEM (or fire anyone in Justice who refuses to do so).
Mueller and Wray? I think that Mueller can be defanged by having every single person investigated by his lynch mob file objections based upon “fruit of the poisonous tree” reasoning. He’ll have nothing. As for Wray, if he’s going to be the protector of the FBI’s name - fine, so long as that involves firing those within the FBI who sullied it in the first place. If he’s going to play bureaucrat and protect everyone there at the cost of justice, then fire his ass, too.
Enough of this $hit already!!!!
P.S. Prosecute Hillary Clinton for her violations of the Secrecy Act, and anyone in the Obama Administration who aided and abetted the FISA fraud. NO letting them off because of the positions they held - those were positions of TRUST, which trust they violated.
Trump has gotten extremely bad advice, re some of his choices for Cabinet and department heads.
Wray needs to go.
You misspelled corrupt.
BRAVO!
I knew I remembered her name... Boente.
These people are not really “picks”, but are individuals in the government’s automatic line of ascendancy to vacant positions.
Wray only names her. This is my understanding, anyway.
When Trump was pondering his cabinet, and FBI directors, I remember conservative media was, naturally, discussing the order of ascendancy in the Bureau, given that Obama had just wielded such a heavy hand over the Justice Department.
There were concerns who was in the hopper, and the three in line were thought to be okay, but were not very well known.
Trump isn’t God. He’s got to rely on people who are supposed to know to recommend folks who have the people’s interest at heart.
Who knew that most, if not all, of the FBI brass is bent?
This would be somewhat easier to stomach if it were mere incompetence. Fact is, this is corruption. Willful, premeditated abuse of government power against political opponents.
Good question. Who is advising Trump??
The entire top echelon of the FBI and DOJ are tainted with corruption.
I have a sinking feeling that nothing but lip service and verbalisms will come out of this memo.
When I heard the Congressional GOP committee members PLEAD to the American people to petition at #releasethememo, that’s when I saw that they felt they were pretty much powerless to really do anything about it.
Why couldn’t they plead / ask in the memo itself for an Special Counsel to be appointed to investigate fully and bring charges of criminality if any were committed?
To expect the very same criminals in the DOJ to ask for a Special Counsel to investigate themselves, is ludicrous.
