FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who has been attacked by President Donald Trump, stepped down Monday, multiple sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.
McCabe will remain on the FBI payroll until he is eligible to retire with full benefits in mid-March, the sources said.
One source said McCabe was exercising his retirement eligibility and characterized his decision as “stepping aside.” – READ MORE

Aw, so he is getting his full retirement. I’ll be waiting for the thank you taxpayer card.
I hope he gets to spend his entire “full pension” on lawyers before he goes to prison. Should be a firing squad for all these dirty cops. Why isn’t BLM rioting in the streets, or are THESE dirty cops different???
I recall the President saying quite unambiguously ‘No Deal’ to McCabe sticking around long enough for his pension to fully vest.

So why should we complain,,,might wake up the folks still sleeping!!!
When all is said and done, McCabe’s character may be so fundamentally disgraced, that the only place he could be employed would be the media, or the Democratic Party.
We have no idea what all this Guy had a huge part in....

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was forced to resign Monday, just as the House Intelligence Committee is expected to vote on the public release of a classified memo this afternoon revealing extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse under the Obama administration, sources told this reporter.
McCabe apparently lashed out to his colleagues when he was told he would be asked to resign, according to sources. FBI Director Christopher Wray viewed the four-page memo on Sunday, sources familiar with the discussions said.
McCabe, who is facing three federal inquiries for conflicts-of-interest during his time at the FBI, is one of the numerous names mentioned in the classified memo detailing FISA abuse, according to sources who reviewed the memo.
The federal inquiries into allegations against McCabe, who was expected to resign in March, are based on documents and interviews conducted by this reporter over the past year and range from sexual discrimination to improper political activity.
