Todays Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Tired of all this Winning yet? The NFL reports that its ad revenues for the 2017 season were down by $30 million due to flagging TV ratings. And yes, I used the word flagging intentionally. Couldnt happen to a dumber bunch of people.
Hey, arent all the pussy hatters supposed to be protesting stuff like this? Fresh on the heels of a Saturday report that more than 90% of Grammy Award nominees since 2012 have been men, last nights Grammy ceremony saw just one trophy or whatever they give away awarded to a female, with the very male Bruno Mars along walking away with 9 of them. But then, I guess since we now are supposed to pretend that we have something like 250 different genders, were also supposed to pretend that the Grammys are not Americas single most misogynistic performance awards.
They obviously forgot to include California in this survey. Some website called Thrillist announced on Sunday that Florida is the worst state in the country in every way. Thrillist claims to have produced its rankings which has Michigan in the numero uno position based on everything. Its really hard to believe that the state that recently produced a wrestling match between an alligator and an anaconda could be ranked so lowly, isnt it?
The House Intelligence Committee meets today, and Republicans, who hold a 13-9 majority on that panel, could vote to release their highly-touted 4-page memo detailing the abuse of the FISA process by the Obama Administration. Whether that vote takes place today, or when the Committee is next scheduled to meet later this week, it seems likely that the much-ballyhooed memo will indeed see the light of day before the week is out. In no event will it be released any earlier than Wednesday afternoon, because Republicans wont want to step on the Presidents State of the Union Address, which comes Tuesday night.
Whenever this memo does make its way into the public domain, one thing is for sure: It had better be good. Really, really good. After the last ten days of dozens of GOP members of congress going on and on about how explosive this document is, the damn thing had better explode, and it had better have every tiny fact nailed down, because if the thing contains even the tiniest factual error, that is the only thing about it that will be reported by the fake news media, which will do everything in its power to cover for the only divine being it has ever worshiped, Barack Hussein Obama.
The fake news media has already coordinated with the Democrat Party on three different tactics to oppose the memo. First, they said that Russian bots, i.e., fake Twitter accounts managed by Russian interests, were behind the promotion of the #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag on that social media platform. But then the leftists who run Twitter, apparently believing that bit of nonsense, analyzed the whole thing and found that more than 90% of those deploying that hashtag were indeed real, actual people. Ooops.
Next, the media/Democrats trotted out the bizarre argument, led by bug-eyed Californa Rep. Adam Schiff, that, well, you just cant release that memo because, you know, like, most Americans are just too dumb to understand whats in it. Shockingly, that one didnt fly even with CNNs hopelessly brainwashed viewership, so they had to move on, as it were.
For the last 3-4 days, the fake reporters, fake talking heads and Democrat politicians have resorted to just rolling out an array of fake news stories and stunts designed to just distract attention away from the whole controversy, most notably the NYTimes fake story about how President Trump thought about firing Robert Mueller 7 months ago, but then didnt do it.
Everyone in the fake news media and the Democrat Party has spent the last half week attempting to convince you all that considering firing a guy with massive conflicts of interest and an obvious, blatant political agenda is somehow an impeachable offense. The fact of the matter is as I argued at the time President Trump should have ordered Rod Rosenstein to fire Robert Mueller last June, when his massive conflicts of interests and ingrained biases became obvious. If Mueller had a shred of personal integrity, he would have never accepted the assignment in the first place, given that he is best buddies with James Comey, who is theoretically a key witness in any attempt to mount an obstruction of justice campaign against the President.
Not only would doing that have not been any sort of crime, the President has an absolute constitutional authority to act in that way. To claim otherwise is to claim that Mueller, and by extension, Rosenstein, are completely unaccountable to anyone. Sorry liberals, life doesnt work that way.
In any event, this whole uproar about this memo has dragged on for so long now that it is verging on becoming tiresome. It was a huge tactical error by the Republicans who viewed this memo to then immediately rush to the nearest television camera and declare it to be explosive. Had it been released a week ago, that probably would have been the case. Coming as it will after two weeks of focused hype, there is now a big risk it will turn out to be a dud in the publics mind.
As San Fran Nan famously said about the Obamacare bill in 2010, We have to pass the bill so we can see whats in it. Just release the damn memo already, so we all can see whats in it.
Just another day in fake news media America.
That is all.

Only to those of us paying attention. I was at a family party yesterday whose main source of news is the MSM. No one mentioned the memo or knew such a thing existed nor were they aware of dossier gate back firing on the Dems.
What are the benefits of timing?
The hype also gets the issue in the minds of everyone. So, while the msm is dealing with the memo as a nothingburger, what they are also doing is getting the issue known.
Trump was famous for that during the campaign. He’d do an interview with anyone at any time, hostile or not, because he knew that publicity is better than no publicity.
You may find this hard to believe, but the reason they couldn’t vote on the release last week is because the House wasn’t in session. Nice hours, if you can get them.
I’m well aware of why. The point is they have over-hyped the thing in the meantime.
My understanding is that the committee vote to release the memo is 5:00PM on Monday.
Defecate or discommode. We may hear some flatulence today from the Nunes Committee indicated a pending dump, plop, splash. #ReleaseTheMemo, #IamNotaRussianBot, #MeMoToo, #SchiffOrGetOffThePot, #AntiTrumpersAreFullOfSchiff
“...Defecate or discommode...”
All my life I’ve been waiting for a socially acceptable way to say that.
Thanks.
I just bet a friend $100 that Schiff's (fake try to get ahead of the bad for them narrative) memo "leaks" to the media before we see the real memo. Media will be complicit in helping obviously. #ReleaseTheMemo

Its goijg to be so redacted that itll be worthless.
Concerned that the memo will be given to the DOJ and FBI so they can redact what may perceive to be “national security” matters. Have no fear the KGB and STASI are alive and well within the FBI & DOJ.
IMO, the 4 page memo will not be redacted, but some of the support documentation will be redacted.
That might be why the issue has been confused, with some thinking the memo itself will be redacted.
I worry that they hype is all they got and once it is released, it’ll be an anticlimatic let down. I hope it is substantive but we need to realize that it is really just a 4-page bullet list of talking points. It will not have detailed evidence to support any of those talking points, which I’m sure will get ripped apart right away.
Trump is a marketing genius. Is he coaching Nunes?
The 4 page memo is the redaction of the report.
From what I’ve heard, that is a fair statement.
Yup!
