What happened to SPORTS?!
There is an unspoken agreement between the players and the fans that the game of football is an escape from worldly concerns such as politics. The players have reneged on that agreement. There will be consequences.
Kowtowing to the players with a “social justice” campaign will only prolong and exacerbate the problem some players’ disrespect to the flag and anthem is causing.
Sorry but a 10% drop doesn’t really qualify as plummeting ratings. It’s obvious the NFL doesn’t care. They think they will make it up by getting more snowflakes with this SJW crap. Sadly they may be right. They do not care about us. So F em.
AMVETS should buy an ad during the competing Puppy Bowl and tell the NFL to take a knee up its arse.
Although Animal Planet is probably liberal at heart, too.

Well if the XFL ever takes off Vince M of WWE fame says MUST stand at anthem, and no players with criminal records, and no politics.
I don’t care what they do, I left last year and am not coming back.
If they were “right”, then it would have happened this season. It clearly did not.

Do snowflakes watch football? really? Because I didn’t think the millennial watched tv and especially not pro football. They certainly don’t have the money to afford season tickets, parking passes and team merchandise. But if the nfl wants to appease them and insult their base customers, then by all means, go ahead. And when it all crumbles, you will have lost people like me for good. Too bad you aren’t making more responsible decisions with your business. Especially in the age of trump. What stupid, ignorant people. Don’t turn your back on your base.

In the future they can do reality shows on the mansions NFL players could have had without that social justice crap.
Last watched the NFL in 2015. Not missed. Only learned yesterday the names of the two teams in their Superbowl, which I look forward to not watching.
