Not sure what he means as both companies do entirely different things, and are in no way related.

It looks like Paddock was being used as a contact to supply guns to what they thought were just a few wannabe jihadis for a future op and they then would be swept up and the FBI looks like the good guys.
Except the entire team of jihadis shows up and everything goes to hell. The fly in the ointment was that M bin Salman wasn't where he was supposed to be and the assassination plot falls apart.
