Rats need that constant influx of “have-nots” to turn them into “gimmiedats” in order to stay in power.
Normal immigrants have a tendency to move from “have-nots” to “haves” in a generation or so. Once they become “haves” and have to should the tax burden of paying for “have-nots” the Rat party rhetoric isn’t as attractive.
With this current crop of “have-nots” the rats think they have struck gold, given that in many cases they are even literate in their native languages let alone English. The will be particularly hard to assimilate (particularly the Muslims!) so there will plenty of work for civil rights lawyers. It’s solid gold for Rats!

Trump has flipped the script on DACA and the wall. Going forward Trump will be able to paint any government shutdown as a Brian art choice between illeagles and Americans.
They are worried because they have lost this leverage.

The democrats are hoping to get the same from the illegals, dreamers, lottery, and chain immigrants.
The wall is an allegory for the stand against illegal invaders and the defeatist GOPe. That is why the left is terrified.
Losing slave voters is what they are afraid of. “...yearning to breathe free...” never meant get free stuff. In the context of the American Experiment, it means freedom to succeed or fail on the basis of one’s own merits. Politics and the art of the election (popular, not republic) has subverted this into an entitlement mentality which could eventually destroy all possibility of freedom in America.

It was a bad gamble to try it as it will be much harder to get what they want for DACA, chain migration and the lottery. All the POTUS has to say is these are the people who chose illegals over the military and 9 million kids.
That alone will piss off a lot of Dem voters.
The chain migration and anchor babies from this 800,000 people will produce enough democrat voters to guarantee a blue nation.
Democrats were wiling to toss the men and women of our military overboard to protect their illegals... That's sick. When dems realized the truth was getting out - that their gatekeepers in the MSM weren't able to lie for them successfully, they caved.

Schumer and democrats, are most fearful of one thing.
That thing is not DACA going away.
That thing is not the building of the wall.
That thing is not LGBT issues losing battles.
The one thing that scares democrats (with Schumer as their leader), is....
Losing more ground in the 2018 elections, because, they don’t have anything to run on to take away republican control in any chamber of congress.
Another way of putting it, is that, they don’t have a winning platform.
Therefore, they need to demonize Trump and republicans on any issue which democrats think they have some leverage in. DACA, immigration, women’s issues, Obamacare, minimum wage, etc.
Whatever they think can bring in votes.
Democrats are up the creek, and they know it, and that is why they are coming unhinged, no matter what the issue or topic of the day is. They are preparing for major losses, by pretending that they are in good positions to retake congress, and they are willing to lie to the people, by pretending that they are doing great in the polls, which polls are “fixed” to show democrats being favored. It’s simply the method of “trying to make it happen” by talking it up, but they’ve got a very deep fear that their expectations are never going to be as they wish.

THANKFULLY Trump is smart enough to understand that, as the article says, the REAL WAR is over Chain Migration, which is why the Democrats were DESPERATE to get it off the table by calling it racist (quite an imagination on their side)...the Dems know if they lose on Chain Migration, then nothing else matters, the country will turn more and more red...and so they won’t concede an inch on it - they may not win, but they WILL NOT let the Republicans fix Chain Migration, not at this point.
The risk with the shutdown is that they were going to lose a LOT of Senate seats if it continued...possibly enough to allow Trump to finally fix Chain Migration next year - so they had to cut their losses. Chain Migration is DO OR DIE for them. The Wall is nothing, DACA is nothing, the Visa Lottery is minor, but Chain Migration is EVERYTHING.
