When distress reports reached U.S. Intelligence in Langley and the Pentagon that the American ambassador to Benghazi and dozens of his diplomatic personnel were under terrorist attack in Libya on Sept. 11 2012, CIA and Defense Department officials scrambled an immediate response.
Officials moved quickly to assemble a counter-terrorism team of professionals to dispatch to Benghazi. That little-known but elite squad, known as the Foreign Emergency Support Team (FEST), is in fact the government’s sole inter-agency, on call and short notice team trained to respond to any terror-related incident in the world.
But not this time. Not in Benghazi.
FEST agents intent on rescuing the stranded Americans from the siege on the U.S. diplomatic compounds in Benghazi — including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens – were told to stand down, according to shocking revelations by FBI agents and CIA sources who spoke to True Pundit.
Robyn Gritz, a decorated FBI agent who previously served as the Bureau’s official attaché to the CIA prior to Benghazi, recalls the troubling details surrounding the stand-down order.
Gritz details the FBI counter-terrorism division’s initial emergency meeting to discuss the unfolding events in Benghazi. In the meeting led by now FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, he briefed agents about the violent attacks in Benghazi. McCabe was assistant director of anti-terrorism at the time but running the FBI’s response to Benghazi, sources confirm.

Were the Embassy staff in on the gig, were they too complicit in the illegal operations? Or were those folks good guys, left to die?

First, there was no embassy there was a consulate with about four staff members and there was a CIA annex a few blocks away with another 23 (approx.) staff.
What was going on at the CIA annex I don’t know and have seen no hard evidence of. That said, everyone, all 27, were left to die that night after multiple stand down orders given to in-country forces and the lack of a CBA from 0blowhard for in-extremis forces.

I really hope those responsible at the top levels for making this stand down order are brought to justice and hung in the town square for all to see.
Obama, clinton, mueller, mccabe, and probably patreaus should be worried for their lives. The others, like Rice, should be looking at life in prison without the possibility of parole.
People have to be arrested for what happened not just in Benghazi but the destruction of Libya and assassination of Gaddafi.
And where is the $6 billion on gold?
Why is this not the most important story tonight everywhere? Where is on Drudge? Is this so potentially toxic that no one wants to touch it?

The point on the organizing the two Marine anti-terrorist teams in Rota, that was good to go ahead and stand ’em up. What I find incomprehensible: The first team, it took them 23 hours to go a few hundred miles from Rota to Tripoli. I could go around the world in 23 hours, so that makes absolutely no sense to me.
It was supposed to be a kidnapping so Obama could swap the Ambassador for the Blind Sheik, but some CIA contractors refused to stand down and killed the plan. ................................... Something I have been saying from day 1. Pincer attack + heavy weapon support and the rush to get the Ambassador? “Dr. Morsi sent us”? It was not a spontaneous attack as the media presented it. I still feel it was a high crime and Obama and his ilk were behind it. Will it ever be proven, or go to trial, don’t count on it. Its like putting Hillary on trial, its not going anywhere, the country is at stake, and any action taken against Obama or Hillary will lead to insurrection backed by the 90% anti republican media. Dead men tell no tales. Stevens must have known something they didn’t want revealed. I do remember discussion of FAST and FEST, but no one would say for sure who gave a stand down order.
Ham scrambled a team immediately, but did not have the cross country approval needed. The story I read said that he had decided to tell them to go anyway, was prevented by his second in command. Shortly after he was retired.
He was coked up or doobied up with Reggie and/or his cheese pizzas.
It must be noted that between Benghazi and Nov, 9 2012 when Petraeus resigned — just two months after Benghazi — from the CIA, according to sources, the general had a “ugly” running dispute with Obama sparked by comments the president reportedly made about Petraeus and possibly his wife. At one point Petraeus threatened to go public with details about Benghazi that would “soil” Obama’s presidential legacy, DOD insiders confirm. “Petraeus even threatened Obama during a meeting over his comments,” one DOD source said. “It was bad. Very ugly stuff.”

The unnecessary deaths at Benghazi are Hillary’s and Obama’s fault. The cover up rests squarely on Trey Gowdy.
Sure appears to be that way. It is rather troubling he is pushing the youtube video nonsense during the attack. If the report is accurate, it helps explain some things. He is either dumb as hell and/or a deep state yes man.

You can do both at the same time.
There are only two explanations for this debacle. One, incompetence. Two, deliberate inaction for reasons unknown.
All POTUS had to do was say "go". If it doesn't work out, he could blame the military later, Obama was always good at blaming others. If incompetence is the reason, it rises to a staggering level.
I think the inaction was deliberate.
