When distress reports reached U.S. Intelligence in Langley and the Pentagon that the American ambassador to Benghazi and dozens of his diplomatic personnel were under terrorist attack in Libya on Sept. 11 2012, CIA and Defense Department officials scrambled an immediate response.
Officials moved quickly to assemble a counter-terrorism team of professionals to dispatch to Benghazi. That little-known but elite squad, known as the Foreign Emergency Support Team (FEST), is in fact the government’s sole inter-agency, on call and short notice team trained to respond to any terror-related incident in the world.
But not this time. Not in Benghazi.
FEST agents intent on rescuing the stranded Americans from the siege on the U.S. diplomatic compounds in Benghazi — including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens – were told to stand down, according to shocking revelations by FBI agents and CIA sources who spoke to True Pundit.
Robyn Gritz, a decorated FBI agent who previously served as the Bureau’s official attaché to the CIA prior to Benghazi, recalls the troubling details surrounding the stand-down order.
Gritz details the FBI counter-terrorism division’s initial emergency meeting to discuss the unfolding events in Benghazi. In the meeting led by now FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, he briefed agents about the violent attacks in Benghazi. McCabe was assistant director of anti-terrorism at the time but running the FBI’s response to Benghazi, sources confirm.

Hillary and Obama are surprised by the Benghazi attack.
They are petrified that their criminal actions in Libya will be discovered.
They work up a cover story about a nothing video.
Benghazi was a wake up call to the people of the United States.

Why was there a ‘stand down’ order?
How discussing. Makes you want to throw up. Someone needs to go to jail.

And Mueller's FBI, not the military, was in charge of the Benghazi “investigation” which we are finding out was never more than an official cover in plain sight.
Another “Agency Special” at work
I don’t mind bashing Mueller and McCabe, but Hillary Clinton caused this disaster. Those who didn’t clean up her unfixable mess after the fact did not cause the mess.
A planeload of agents arriving at best 8-10 hours after the show was over was going to help no one, and accomplish nothing except to dribble in more victims. The situation was lost before it began when Hillary placed personnel in an indefensible location without loyal guards.
Only the POTUS had the authority to act!
0bama was notified immediately and automatically when the Benghazi consulate triggered the "Imminent Danger Notification System" alert. He did nothing.

Denial of prior requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.

The bottom line is that they could not enter Libyan airspace without an order from the POTUS. No one, not even the VP or SecDef, can give that order. It's called "Cross Border Authority" and FReeper and former Navy Seal Travis McGee explains it well...
None of this is new information but for some new names. ANYONE associated with “stand down” from the Kenyan,Klinton,ball-less generals on down should at the very least be rotting in a cell.
Obama intentionally made himself unavailable to give cross border authority.
No one could go without it.

Top Diplomat in Tripoli: Pentagon Told Special Forces to 'Stand Down'Hicks testified he was standing next to a U.S. Army Special Forces officer that night who was instructed not to assist in efforts to secure and evacuate American personnel from Benghazi. The Pentagon says these troops were ordered to remain where they would do the most good.
This might be considered a stand down too.

Here is a third way a "stand down" policy was implemented IMO.
