They think it does.
The communist struggles, at the cost, often enough, of his own life, his own happiness, his own family, for the sake of the “workers”, or the mass of the people and their posterity, however defined.
The reality of it we criticize, but that was their creed. Overtly anyway, all human ideas are corrupted and compromised from the beginning.
Just like Satanists, they copied something else, and it is a very good argument that it was Christianity.
An old, very nerdy conservative slogan was “Don’t immanentize the eschaton”, that is, dont try to make heaven on earth. Because that was the root of the communist idea.
How is abolishing the family a copy of Christianity? Same goes with private property.
That's an old, nerdy, Catholic conservative slogan. Many Fundamentalist Protestants, J-- Witnesses, Orthodox Jews, etc., believe the "end of history" is a literal earthly (not a metaphorical) Kingdom of G-d. If this messianic ideal is the root of Communism, then surely Jerry Falwell, Hal Lindsay, and their fellows are the Ultimate Communists.
Catholics never tire of reminding us that "G-d created matter, too" (they do this to defend the use of images, relics, etc.). Yet they insist that all G-d created matter will be ultimately annihilated.
The true root of the Communist ideal (and every other false ideal ever conceived) is the idea of an independent objective moral order that exists apart from G-d. This idea is just as wrong in a harmless whimsical classicist as it is in a mass murderer.
Independent morality is the curse of the human race.
