Bunkerville Standoff: Dave Bundy Wants Prosecutors Out, Greg Burleson Wants His Conviction......

While Cliven Bundy, Ryan Bundy and Ammon Bundy are getting back to normal life as free men, a group of four men are on pre-trial release facing trial in connection with Bunkerville. Dave Bundy, Mel Bundy, Joe O'Shaugnessy and Jason Woods are set for trial on February 26th.

US District Judge Gloria M. Navarro says with the evidence being out in the open now, the four are eligible for trial.

But defendant Dave Bundy wants the prosecutors removed from the trial. His lawyer filed a motion Friday saying that the prosecutors in the case are potential witnesses in his trial. The prosecutors were berated by Judge Gloria Navarro at Monday's hearing dismissing charges "with prejudice" against the three Bundy men and Ryan Payne.

Meanwhile Ryan Payne is in jail in Portland, awaiting a January 23rd detention hearing. His sentencing in connection with the Oregon Standoff protest is set for February 27th. Payne was convicted in the second rigged Oregon Standoff trial with defense arguments and witnesses limited by US District Judge Anna J. Brown.

Greg Burleson has filed a motion for a new lawyer. Burleson was sentenced to 68 years in prison after his conviction on Bunkerville Standoff charges. Burleson says that in light of all the evidence hidden during his trial by the prosecution, he wants to appeal his conviction.

Jerry DeLemus, who pled guilty in connection with Bunkerville and was sentenced to 87 months in prison by Judge Navarro, may do something through the legal system but that's not clear yet.

His wife Susan spoke with WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire Monday after the dismissal of charges against the four other defendants, saying she was contacting lawyers to see if anything could be done in light of the hiding of evidence.

Jerry DeLemus served as co-chair of Donald Trump's "New Hampshire Veterans Coalition" during 2016's New Hampshire Primary and DeLemus was photographed along with his wife and Mr. Trump during a campaign event.

Susan DeLemus told the "Manchester Union-Leader": "I want to be guarded about being too excited about this, because we don't know at this point. But it could mean that he's coming home soon. We are hoping and praying."

It will be sooner than later. The ruling by the Judge opens all the cases to a simple mistrial motion.

Why? We are just getting started to prove the BLM, Justice Department, DA for Nevada were all "convicted" by the judge and she dismissed their case with prejudice, never happens!!

The Bundys have had their name dragged through the mud their lives threatened and one spent 700 days in jail a political sentence!! No, don't end this anytime soon, we need lots and lots of sunshine to see what (they all) did to a western farmer, maybe some of the investigations will lead to Harry Reid!

There is a mountain of justice to be climbed here, so lets hope for continued progress.

Me too. Didn’t an FBI agent kill one of those protesters? Didn’t the film show he wasn’t in fear of his life when he shot him dead. Anyone know?

The FBI killed no one in the Bunkerville protests, but they sent snipers into Bunkerville along with the Bureau of Land Management.

They were targeting with their laser scopes both the Bundy Ranch house and the “First Amendment area” where protestors were corralled.

BLM officers attacked the protesters at Bunkerville on three different occasions.

Of course snipers were aiming at protestors on April 12, 2014 when the standoff over the cattle occurred.

Some protestors coming to Nevada came armed exercising their Second Amendment rights after word of the snipers came out.

In Oregon an FBI agent fired the first shots in anger at that protest with the Oregon State Police supporting them gunning down protestor LaVoy Finicum.

No shots fired, no violence from the protestors in Nevada or Oregon.

Thanks so much for that. You think the agent will stand trial? SEEMS Finicum was no threat when shot. I’m desperately trying to remember.

My blog contains a number of “Oregon Standoff” posts.

One recent one looks ahead to 2018 and includes the story of the FBI agent.

Thank you for that info. It is hard to get any clear reporting on both of these cases. Many get them confused. The release of Bundy from prison after serving 700 days, is so great.

These feds that did this to Bundy, enabled them to do it to Finnicum in Oregon. Somebody has got to pay. An agent or a Justice Department lawyer has got to be charged and convicted, this is madness what they did to these ranchers.
