California, Idaho, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Seen em all and can also tell you wolves attacking humans is extremely rare. They are a danger to livestock and pets no question and should be shot on sight but as far as a threat to humans I’d worry about a opposum more. They have a natural fear of humans and that’s why you only have seen them at night. There are far more deer attacks than coyotes when discussing humans.

What should we be worried about opposums?
I'm a suburban boy here who had to have an opossum removed from my house that's 1/2 mile from the Pentagon. The fat bastard took to sitting on my back fence and my dogs were freaking out. My back neighbor, who leaves raw meat out in her yard for her cats, said "he's cute."
The trapper told me they can carry T.B. and some other nasty diseases, but not rabies. My worry is for my dogs.
