The Bunkerville Standoff defendants on pre-trial release face restrictions but these have been eased for the Christmas and New Year's holidays for Ryan Payne and Ammon Bundy.
Payne will be in Montana with his fiancee' and children. Ammon Bundy will be at Bundy Ranch and at a home in Las Vegas with his wife and children.
Cliven Bundy remains in jail, awaiting the ability to be totally free without any restrictions.
Others convicted or who entered guilty pleas are also in jail for Christmas.
Greg Burleson, Todd Engel and Jerry DeLemus are prisoners in connection with Bunkerville.....
And of course Harney County, Oregon ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond remain imprisoned at the Terminal Island federal prison in Long Beach, California.
The Hammonds were sent back to federal prison for a second time in January 2016 to serve mandatory five year terms as "terrorists" when the federal government determined they must serve the heavier sentence because lighting a backfire to protect your land from brush fire and touching federal land in the process is an "act of terrorism".......

This story should be on all the news sites, the big three networks but it’s not.
The Uniparty Media including the so-called “Conservative Media” are in the business of keeping us angry on the basis of “Left” versus “Right” and “Republican” versus “Democrat” etc. etc. with demonization of personalities on the opposing side.
They feed us the opioids of emotional argument and hatred based on political affiliation feeding at the trough of Washington DC ignoring what’s really going on out there and what’s really wrong in the heartland of the country.

Both want to control the piggy bank that is the endless supply of money known as the US Treasury. Any suggestion that people could have property and wealth independently of big government is a message that must not be heard.

Re the Hammonds:
They had permission from the Feds to light that backfire....but of course, NOT in writing.
They never should have been prosecuted in the first place.
IF I ever win the Lottery, I will be making a substantial donation to the Hammonds. And to Mrs LaVoy Finicum.
When sane govt heads (pardon oxymoron) finally cease and desist with this nonsense, I hope the former defendants sue the ass off of the goobermint morons who generated this debacle!!
Underneath the notions of “saving the planet” and “protecting the environment” are people who want to make a buck and use the power of government to make it.
The solar panel and wind turbine people come to mind, but there are others, too.
They buy Democrats, they buy Republicans.
The politicians reserve land that some special interest will scoop up or rent or whatever later on to make big bucks.
