Their President has been blown in office too? I guess the US and Mexico have more in common than I thought.

The drug lords run mexico. The socialist-democrats, the RINOs, and a significant amount of hand wringing conservatives are just fine with that.

Build that wall! Build it high!

Better yet, build a DMZ border no-man’s land patrolled by the US military along the US-mexico border.

Oh, and screw california. The US border is federal territory. The other 49 states want the border locked down. The military guns can point BOTH ways, from the gulf of mexico, all of the way to the pacific.

small wonder illegals in the USA comprise a disproportionate number of murderers in the USA and the total number of Americans killed by illegal is greater than the number of americans killed in all the middle east wars combined.

See, see! Trump’s comments when he announced his candidacy are responsible for this!!

His poll numbers will tank now!

In all fairness, this post actually gives me more empathy for people going across the border. The government of Mexico is horrendous and if anything the WALL will force THEM to shape up as much as it protects us. The people of Latin America benefit when by protecting our own security and sovereignty, we hold their countries’ own governments accountable.

....more empathy for people going across the border....

Why? If the good ones stayed home, they could strive for better governance. If that doesn't happen, it's inevitable that the good ones in any substantial numbers bring the problems with them. Whenever there is an influx that stops those already here from adapting to US culture, laws, and values, they become what they left.

........
I would be empathic if only non murderers come across the border or if the people who cross the border do not subsequently become murderers and rapists—but they do.

Its in the culture or blood.

Murder rates of white europeans and north asians are very low whereas murder rates of blacks and hispanics are very high.

Import people with high murder rates and you get their high murder rates.

I am so used to these headlines knocking President Trump, that I thought it meant him, before I read the article.
And wondered how were they going to blame President Trump for this!

According to U.N. figures used in the World Bank’s online database, Brazil and Colombia both had a murder rate of 27 per 100,000, Venezuela 57, Honduras 64 and El Salvador 109 in 2015, the last year for which data are available.

The U.S. rate was 5 per 100,000.

Build. The. Damn. Wall. Now.

This is an example to all as to what happens when governments pass laws that forbid it's citizens the basic human right to protect themselves with firearms.

Ya Know, on second thought, nothing will help that crap hole. How many civil wars have they fought down there?

Should have kept that pest hole after we had it. Sucked the place dry and then left it.

maybe they should try reinstating the death penalty and use it ! Another thing that comes to mind is eliminating all the government, local and Federal employees with their hands out, whether to the the cartels or just picking the citizens pocket.
