This is Laz's idea of the ultimate, politically incorrect, Christmas song ...

Merry Christmas from the Family

That song reminds me of my own family.

Except we usually had the cops get called out.

Ahh, good times. Good times.

Thank you for referencing Robert Earl Keene.

That song is truly the official Christmas song of Texas.

For those unaware of his awesomeness, I include the first 2 stanzas. I LOVE the references to AA, blended families, and Mexican boyfriends.

Mom got drunk and dad got drunk
At our Christmas party
We were drinkin' champagne punch
And homemade eggnog
Little sister brought her new boyfriend
He was a Mexican
We didn't know what to think of him
'Til he sang Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad

Brother Ken brought his kids with him
The three from his first wife, Lynn
And the two identical twins
From his second wife, Mary Nell
Of course he brought his new wife Kaye
Who talks all about AA
Chain smokin' while the stereo plays
Noel, Noel, the first Noel

I'm no fag, but this song makes me a little blurry. It is the Christmas song that means the most to me on the entire planet. It speaks to my experience.

Merry Christmas and may God Bless you all.
