This is a violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act - 15 USC § 1 "Every contract, combination in the form of trust or otherwise, or conspiracy, in restraint of trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations, is declared to be illegal. Every person who shall make any contract or engage in any combination or conspiracy hereby declared to be illegal shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and, on conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine not exceeding $100,000,000 if a corporation, or, if any other person, $1,000,000, or by imprisonment not exceeding 10 years, or by both said punishments, in the discretion of the court."

And the Act defines "persons" as follows: "The word 'person', or 'persons', ....shall be deemed to include corporations and associations existing under or authorized by the laws of either the United States, the laws of any of the Territories, the laws of any State, or the laws of any foreign country.

Democrats, the party of hate.

If you sold your soul to the devil, and someone else was going to take all the ill-gotten fortune and fame that you paid so dearly for away... wouldn't you be mad too ?

A.)If you can't refrain from telling our members what they can or can't say in a thread...

B.)...you should neither post a comment nor post a thread

Both of these statements were made in the same paragraph.

How strangely ironical.

Not only RICO, but as individuals they should be charged with sedition.

If only the DOJ wasn’t controlled by Hillary Clinton we could actually do something about this.

It would be in the nature of the “dormant” interstate commerce clause, which prohibits states from enacting laws that interfere with interstate commerce. This is, in essence, the states interfering with the international relations and immigration policy of the federal government, through laws impacting citizens of theirs, and other, states, and would be prohibited.

The Supreme Court found, dubiously, that a state can’t enforce Federal laws that the feds don’t want to enforce themselves. It seems abundantly more likely that a state can’t takes steps to inhibit enforcement of laws that the Feds do want to enforce. It won’t take long to strike these laws down. Paging Jeff Sessions!

Going to be a lot less “Blue” cities once that first year of no SALT tax deduction and the actual dollar amounts become apparent to taxpayers in those areas.

Isn’t this restraint of trade? Collusion? Interstate commerce violation? RICO?

Perhaps FedGov could prioritize cities that boycott federal contractors for ICE raids. Restore them to American control and see if they will stop attacking businesses that help to defend our country.

F Berkeley.

If you believe the Wall is a good thing, you’ll have no problem with the boycott. In fact, wear it proudly. You’d be amazed how many Hispanics *want* the Wall built.

How, if cities and towns from all sorts of states are prohibited from doing any official business with the companies?

Ha... just outsource (or threaten to outsource) it to some Mexican contracting companies!

Put a siege on these cities and and see how long they can last.>>>>>
That’s funny, soon they’ll all be groveling over their pensions, and other liabilities. It’s gonna be major, many cities and blue states are bankrupt. They need a dem in charge to bail them out.

I favor a national law prohibiting the bans against any company conducting legitimate government business or we could wind up with a fish mash of prohibited contractors all over the country.

give me a break most of the workers will be illegal, regardless who wins the contract. I dont in any way put that on Trump. We need to seriously make sure they are legal workers, not that HB BS.

Thanks so much! I thought so, but wasn’t sure. OTHO, no way to know if this is an episode of screaming at the sky, or ‘fake news’. Just doesn’t seem it can be legal to do this? Jeff Sessions is unavailable at the moment, napping ;)
