Former Obama deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes mused about the deaths of top Republicans on Twitter Thursday before being scolded by GOP Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, who was severely injured in the June Congressional baseball practice shooting.
Rhodes issued the inflammatory tweet in response to fellow Obama White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer, who joked that he hopes President Donald Trumps Instagram photo celebrating the passage of the GOP tax reform bill appears on the front page of The New York Times when Trump is indicted. Pfeiffer didnt specify what Trump would be indicted for.

Indicted for supporting free enterprise, of course
.
Sitting presidents cannot be “indicted.”
Hopefully The President would have the good sense to send the US Marine Corps to arrest the enemies of the US that might try such treasonous insurrection.
.
No conflict of interest there, eh? I’m sure it’s just coincidence. /sarc
What a punk. Nice to see the real face of the bile president Obama’s inner circle.
I know fools exist everywhere, but its still difficult and scary to imagine someone so immoderate and childish in their speech being a “national security advisor.”
If one thinks of leftards as being nothing more than malevolent and malicious children then it all fits together.
All Rhodes did is reveal what leftists really think..they really believe that their utopian society would involve ALL Republicans to be dead..then they would be truly happy
Whatever you do, don’t go to Twitter and look at the responses to Scalise’s tweet. If you value whatever faith you have left in humanity, don’t do it.
.
Why is Ben Rhodes not in custody?
This is a very serious felony.
.
Perhaps the Secret Service and the U.S. Marshals should look. ... If they’re not.
No kidding. Twitter is full of hateful, bitter leftists that are so unhappy with their pathetic lives (and, not surprisingly, Twitter never bans them)
Rhodes is a nut case.
A loss of faith in humanity often leads to one acquiring the means of self defense, if you get my drift.
Wondering the same. It seems publicly calling for the death of a President etc is acceptable now that Barry is gone. WTH?
The part of Texas I came from, if you went around crowing about wanting someone dead, they might start having the same ideas about you.
It’s be a real shame if something happened to Ben.
Wouldn’t it now.
Why does FOX news, etc. ask that "Why"? We all know it's because the ruling class is ALL corrupted. This nation has become a benevolent Banana Republic.
He isn’t talking about when he’s President. Dems hold grudges. They are still pissed BJ got impeached. Trump winning drove them over the edge.
Thier corruption is being slowly released for a reason.
