Sessions put the spotlight on the prosecutors when he complimented them several months back. Now that they effed it up good, they are not only caught trying to abuse their power and status, but they have embarrassed their boss and their department.
I cant say whether this was a calculated chess move or just dumb luck, but justice looks like its (slowly) awakening.
I agree it is a question. But I have discovered over the years that one should never underestimate the impact of stupidity and arrogance in human endeavors.
